Take a minute… Think about yourself… How’s the running going? Wait…! Are we running? Let’s dig deep in to the running we do through this month’s editorial.
First of all, let me share a beautiful
Zen story with you all.
“One day a horse & a man suddenly
came running quickly down the road. It
seemed as though the man had somewhere important to go. So, in rush… Another man, who was standing
alongside the road, shouted, “Where are you going?” Coz he thought they may be
in a hurry or needs a help. But the man
on the horse replied, “I don’t know! Ask the horse!”
As you know we are also similar to
the man who rides this horse. There is
no control of what we do, say or think. We
just run with the horse. So, hurriedly…
carried away with our habits. We don’t seek
for the truth. Coz we are blindly believing
our horse and his journey, with no control at all ends of with nowhere!
If someone wanted to show the truth,
we need him to join with us too. He actually
does for a little while with his compassionate heart, for the sake of saving us. But then what we do? We blame him… “If this running is useless,
then why he is with us… he should have minded his own business… why he joined
too!”
Yes, this is us… you & me
blaming the person who actually care for us! Because we are so depending on our
horse. We run with the horse… with a
blind belief of the horse will take me to a better place!
When the person who came to helps
us sees this that we actually don’t like to stop… eventually he too leaving us!
We end up with our horse and our running!
We run & run… horse is just circling & taking us nowhere… but we
are so blinded & fascinated by the horse & the running… we don’t see
this useless so call journey!
So, my dear friends, instead of
blaming the person who asks us to stop we should observe our running. Our horse!
The more energy we put into running, the more we get lost… coz this running
takes us nowhere. But again, at the end of the day, decision is all yours dear!
