The mindfulness & the vigor are the top main objects which we should concentrate according to dhamma. Even though we understood dhamma if we doesn't have these 2 qualities within us we fails to improve the wisdom & gain peace to our minds.
So it is still the New Year, January doesn't even end properly… so have a strong thought on how you guide yourself to become your own savior. If you are a human being then you have this responsibility without considering the religion, race or status you are in.
Think before you talk, think before you act… your behaviors may support someone else to improve their desires, hatred & ignorance while same act helps you to improve your own ignorance by improving desires, hatred. Mindfulness should be there to examine your thoughts, words & acts. And the vigor should be there to handle yourself with care for not allowing these evil demons to attract you for their sides.
If a person who doesn't have this kind of mindfulness or vigor to control him & get rid of the desires, hatred & ignorance and still believe and say I is a good follower of dhamma or I’m a good Buddhist… then that person should think about his / her own self again.
How old are you? How long you are planning to live? Do you have any guarantee? Then what is this you are doing now? What you are planning to take with you when you die?
Your behaviors guide others to select the path of desire… they intoxicate with the desire and use their mind, body & words to behave accordingly. Then you scream there are so much of rapists around here… there are so much of uncontrolled personals around here… they are threat to us… etc…
Your behaviors guide others to select the path of hatred… they intoxicate with the hatred and use their mind, body & words to behave accordingly. Then you scream there are so much of murderers, robbers, evil persons around here… etc…
Then there is bundle of people get together to stop these people… what is the path they select to stop them? It’s again the same path which supports to increase the level of desires, hatred & ignorance. I know not each & every human being can understand this kind of theory. But can you?
If you have time to desire & attach to things, if you have time to conflict and have hatred & anger… if you have time to seek for the things which entertain you by improving desire & hatred and if you have mindfulness to wait for the chances to entertain yourself with desire, hatred & gives you temporarily happiness and loads of suffering for sure, then why you are fail to select the difficult but the good path which brings you loads of permanent happiness at the end? The animal can’t do it because they don’t have such an advance thinking ability. But are you the same? Who are you? What you want to be?
Think, at the end of the decision is all yours. Compassionate is something which comes from the real mindfulness & vigor to cease the evils within you. When there is more compassion in yourself then the year ahead will be a good & perfect year for you with loads of peace in your mind. So at the end of the year you will be able to see a good year with bundle of good things happened and you can tag the year as a totally good year. The year becomes good because you were able to find out your own faults and correct them from yourself. Ultimately that action helped to everyone around you too.
May you have a year which filled with mindfulness & vigor to become your own savior!!! Be a true human being… think beyond the labels!!!
